Aleve® is an OTC pain reliever and fever reducer indicated for temporary relief of minor aches and pains, and the temporary reduction of fever. Many kinds of pain, including minor osteoarthritis (OA) pain, dental pain, and dysmenorrhea have been proven responsive to naproxen sodium,1-3 a long-lasting OTC NSAID and the primary ingredient in Aleve®, at nonprescription strengths.
